Nearly 50 men in Thailand have reportedly been treated in hospital after having botched penis enlargements.
The men all had syringes of blue liquid injected into their penises by illegal backstreet doctors.
One told hospital staff he had paid about £8 for a dose.
They all needed two months of treatment for inflamed penises, according to the state-run Chaiyaphum hospital.
All of them made a full recovery.
The cases date back to January this year and it is believed the men were injected with some kind of paraffin mixture.
It is not clear whether the men are from the same town or village.
Unlicenced cosmetic surgery carried out by unqualified practitioners has become a major problem in Thailand, particularly in rural areas.
