John Kerry has beaten President Bush - in the fashion stakes, that is.

Unlike the President, his Democrat challenger has been nominated for the International Best Dressed List, organised by Vanity Fair.

Laura Bush has also been nominated. But Kerry's wife, Teresa Heinz Kerry, shares with the President the ignominy of not getting into the frame at all.
