Pushing up the daisies is to become a thing of the past at the Sunset Hills Memorial Park Cemetery in Apple Valley, California.

The authorities have decided to replace the grass with artificial turf which, they claim, will save $180,000 in watering and maintenance costs over a three-year period.

Sunset Hills is appropriately the last resting place of the legendary film cowboy Roy Rogers who, on his famous horse Trigger, rode off into the sunset more times than most movie-goers can remember.
