3) and find yourself a classic beauty, with a perfect can, and great totties. That will put you in good stead with The Lord. It's all in here. *points to bible*

I can truly say that college was the best time of my life. By far.

Ahhh...but you haven't been to Italy yet! Cool

I was miserable in college. All that insecurity...financial, personal, etc.

My 30s were better...I'd figured out what I wanted to do, found the right life partner, and bought a home. But there wasn't enough money, and we were constantly going through fertility problems. (Two miscarriages.) And I lost my father in a very traumatic way.

My 40s were better still...I finally had a child, and he has turned out to be the joy of my life. My life became more stable, and we had enough money to travel to great places. Bought a bigger house, too. But I lost my mother unexpectedly (am an orphan now) and I developed some health problems.

I'm looking forward to my 50s. My older girlfriends tell me they are the best years of life for a woman.

It seems that every age has its advantages and disadvantages, kicky.

Now. When are you going to Italy? Better go before you get too many commitments, or one day you'll look up and realize you missed your chance.

Now this sounds a little bit more positive. I hope my 40s can be as good as yours. I'm not anywhere near finding the right woman, but maybe in my 40s that will happen. I doubt it, but what the hell, as long as I'm trying to be hopeful...

I am going to Italy in May or June. That is something good to look forward to! Thanks for pointing that out, Eva. You're so cool. Cool

(except in Bear's case, of course....but ain't he a hoot? LOL)

You could meet that right woman in Italy. Stranger things have happened. Especially in my life.

Hmmm - the freedom you are unlikely to have again - though, when I think about it, the "freedom" meant uni all day, working all night, and partying in between with no sleep - I actually work less hours now - but, because it is so damned regular and unrelenting, it seems like prison. Mind you, it was lots of fun when it wasn't horrible.

I think that one DOES get happier - though the body stuff is a pain, no denying it. Having to SLEEP to avoid tiredness - not being able to drink as much as one wants - all that.

But - if you are really thinking that forty or fifty are the end of happiness, you're nuts.

Being in a job you hate IS miserable, though. No wonder you are in a bit of a funk.

Mind you - working is a pain, however you look at it - I mean, it would be so much better if you could choose when, and with whom, you worked.

My dream is being able to tell would-be clients that I won't work with them. And why!!!! Heeheeeee.....

Anyhoo - sounds like a nearly forty "thing" you are having.

It will pass, and you will find that you can be just as happy - if not more so.

Kicky, it sounds like you are entering a premature mid life crisis. Snap out of it... remember that you are young and still in your 30's! You still have lots and lots of time in your life to accomplish anything you want to…remember you make your own happiness. Smile
