I am currently searching around for a dvd player. The problem is that the TV I have doesn't have a scart socket, it only has audio in, video in and the aerial sockets. I've been to Currys to ask them about it but they said I defiantely need a scart socket in my TV. Is this true or can I find an adapter somewhere so I don't need to buy a new TV? I think you can get them for Playstation 2's but i don't know if they would be suitable for normal dvd players.
Can anyone help me?!
Maybe this will help. It seems that you can get an adaptor. naughty people at Currys! lol

Oh thank you. The adapter from gadgetsuk.com looks like it might do the trick.
Now i just have to find out whether there are enough sockets in the back of my tv. There's a yellow socket, a white socket and an aeriel socket. I don't know if this changes whether or not it'll work. It's been mentioned that there possibly should be a red socket too, but i don't have one. Does this matter anyone?
