Fire safety lesson

Firefighters in Arkansas, drafted in to teach the local schoolchildren the basics about fire safety, ended up learning a lesson themselves when they torched a nearby house and killed a dog.

Disaster struck when crew members of the Magnolia Fire Department started a blaze going in a "demonstration house".

Soon after the 'house' collapsed and hit a nearby power line, which, then in turn, smashed into the private home.
