Increasing the speaker impedance

I would like to know if there is a way that i could either increase or decrease the impedance of a speaker? Because I am planning to build an amplifier from a kit and I have a 4, 6 and 8 ohm speaker, I would like to connect all the speakers to the amplifier, but the specifications for the amplifier say that never connect a speaker with an impedance less than 8 ohms. Thank you.

Connect the 4 and 6 ohm speakers in series. That way the total impedence will be 10 ohm.
