Freud said: 'Sometimes a banana is just a banana'
An art sculpture made up of thousands of bananas is on offer as a snack in London's Trafalgar Square.
Entitled 10,000 Bananas, the installation is on display in the capital's square but not for too long as passers-by are being invited to munch on the subject matter for free.

The artist behind the project is American Doug Fishbone, a student at Goldsmiths College and winner of the 2004 Beck's Futures Student Prize for Film and Video.
Earlier showings of the banana sculpture have been held in New York, Ecuador and Poland, although Mr Fishbone's first attempt to display his installation in London failed to gain support.

He says what the scupture means "depends on context, who's looking and who you ask".
He said: "I'm comfortable leaving the ultimate interpretation to the viewer. Didn't Freud once say, 'Sometimes a banana is just a banana'."
The sculpture is part of an art project which explores the idea of the future through a sequence of inter-related exhibitions and events during one year.
The installation has been described as a 'cutting edge, fruit based masterpiece', but some members of the public are seemingly not so convinced.
