Ok for little kids, not ok for Barry Bonds

I find this kind of funny...article on the use of growth hormone for short kids:

It's kind of amusing how the media portrays certain things in different contexts. Because they're little kids being prescribed this drug from a doctor, nobody is questioning the possible side effects. But read about growth hormones somewhere else, and you might hear it will turn you into a neanderthal looking freak. Some say that's why "Arnold" has a protruding forehead and gapped teeth. This stuff has been used for years by athletes, and I'd bet money it's Barry Bond's drug of choice. It's kind of a "mystery" drug...even though it's been around for a long time, I'm not sure they have a firm grasp on possible long term effects.

What do you think of the little ones injecting themselves with growth juice? I could have used that stuff in high school, but at least I finally grew.

Knew a kid who did it - at age 18. Grew about 8 inches and looked like a freak.

Barry obviously is doing something, but HGH doesn't promote hand-eye coordination. He's the best hitter ever. Too bad their bullpen sucked and they missed out on the postseason again.
