is my cat in the first stage of labor

I have taken in a stray who turned out to be pregnant. She started to act like she was in labor, for three days she was meowing very loud, she would roll from side to side, she was sleeping alot and she had clear discharge and she would shuffle her back feet. But this morning she was up playing and not doing any of the following. I would love to hear from anyone who has gone through anything like this.
