A council apologised for mistakenly boarding up a woman's home while she was away on holiday.
Patricia Driscoll returned from a break in Blackpool to find steel shutters had been fitted over the windows and doors of her house in Llanedeyrn, south Wales.
Housing officers said they were wrongly informed that Ms Driscoll's home had been abandoned so they arranged for it to be boarded up.
