EDIT (MODERATOR): Moved from Original Art and Photography to Consumer Electronics

I have a Sony Cyber-shot model DSCP31. When I went to use it the other day, the screen is black. The pictures that were stored previously can be seen, but the screen is black on all the other settings. Can anyone help me???

Remove the batteries from the camera, wait 20 minutes, then reinstall them. Any difference? Don't worry - you won't lose your pictures, they are stored on non-volatile memory.
