More than 100 young sea birds had to be rescued after they were caught in bad weather and were found drowning off the south Wales coast.
RSPCA inspectors found the sea and beach at Newgale, near Haverfordwest, full of exhausted Manx Shearwater birds which had no strength left to fly.
The birds had been blown off course by strong winds and were so tired they quietly allowed rescuers to pluck them to safety
