It's been reminding me forever that I have mail. I've already read it, and done with.

I've never gotten mail via A2K, and I assume you signed up for it on threads you started, or failed to clarify what you wanted on Your Preferences. See the bottom of this page.

no, it means you have an unread PM in your inbox.

the message will go away as soon as you read it, so check you inbox...

to open a PM, you have to click on it.

once you do, the message will go away...

No, it doesn't I've opened dozens of times, and it still shows up as "You've got mail!"

It's from dalehileman, and it's from August 27, 2016.

I think you have to go down the list of emails you have received, in reverse order, until you find the right one or ones. It can't be dale's doing it.

You've probably got an old, unopened one.

You have to go down the line of your pm's and open them all to find the culprit.
