Is it possible, that people used internet forums on other planets before the Roman Empire?

Think sci-fi. Imagine a giant living body comprised of billions of individual intelligent units. The thing covers an entire planet. All the individuals communicate through a nerve system. A guy has a girlfriend on the other side of the planet. Girlfriend begets little ones from a guy adjacent to her. It'll be like " sorry bud, you are on the other side of the planet, what are you going to do about it".
