Hundreds of people took part in a bizarre black pudding throwing competition which attracts people from around the world to a small corner of Lancashire.
The World Black Pudding Throwing Championship recreates an ancient battle between the counties of Yorkshire and Lancashire, and attracts people from as far away as Australia.
It was held at the Royal Oak pub in Ramsbottom, Greater Manchester, with more than 300 people taking part.
