Question on extracting amethyst from raw rock.

I have about 10lbs of rock that has amethyst vains through the rocks and I want to get it cut to give to a jeweler to making into a wedding ring; but I have no idea where to start. Any help will be appreciated.

No way to do a neat job: if it came
as a geode -like this one- you may
have an outside chance with a hammer and cold chisel.
Imbedded in granite mass - leave it alone, like, no way.

cuturi makes rock sculpture pneumaic chisels and hold-downs.

Do you know nyonw in N rt depRTMENT OR MAYBE THE JEWELER Hs one, or a rock slabbing saw.
Youre gonna waate some rock but its the only way without taking a really long time and a pneumatic high speed damond tipped drill or a Pfingst vibrating disagregating tool .

Museum preprators use em and geo departments have them if they do sample prep.,
