What is a Geometric Pattern? My son came home with home work that asked him to draw a Geometric pattern.

Is your son below 10 years of age?
Is this home work related to Mathematics or Art?
If it's Art probably he is required to come up with a
pattern comprising of circles,triangles,squares and hexagons, to name
a few.
He could choose a few of different shapes and sizes
to create his design. It could be repetitive or even free form.
