Sneezing

My cats usually sneeze in a cat like manner.

Except the other day roland kept giving little hiccuping sounds in rapid succession, then suddenly this huge sneeze of human-like proportions.

He didn't fart though.

I wonder what it's muzzle velocity is and could it be lethal?

I like that name, Roland. Is it after the character in the Dark Tower novels? As far as I can remember I've only met one Roland in life and read of only one Roland in fiction. I don't remember either of them sneezing.

He is named Roland Deschain and his comrade in arms is Otis Campbell, after the town drumk on the Andy Griffith Show.

I didn't read all of the Dark Tower series, but enjoyed the ones I did read. There is a movie in the works...

One time I was driving my Ranger pick up, with my wife in the passenger seat and my son riding in the bed in back. I sneezed so loudly, my son thought I was hollering at him over something. He started yelling back. I had to pull over, to explain it was just a sneeze.

My photographer from my wedding was named Roland. I only remember that because it was a rarely heard name.

Roland was also the name of the first man I fell in love with, but my roland isn't named after him. My husband came up with that name and I quickly agreed.

Yes, my other cat is Otis. He is stoic.

Suiting their personalities, when I feed them dinner, Otis get the Spiderman bowl or Piston Cup Champion bowl, and Roland gets Dora the Explorer of Disney Princesses.

Oddly enough, Otis is the one who will make seductive cries toward Roland, who happily performs his duties as a Top.
