Cable versus DSL

I think NickFun is right, although DSL can be a lot cheaper.

Depends on where you are.. I have used both cable and DSL in my community and DSL is just about twice as fast..

Both advertised the same upload and download speeds.. Even had the cable tech over to tweak the line and the box but no go !!

So how can I find out which is better for my location?

Talk to the providers of DSL and cable in your area. Ask them about the speed that they guarantee.

Or better, talk to some neighbors who have the services.
