But in Genesis despite everything else he does not do that. There is a lesson there. I wonder who has noticed this aspect of Genesis. Cain shows a worsening because he asks if he's his brother's keeper, which of course he is.

Interesting topic Augbro.

See interestingly, Cain and Abel were raised to serve the God that took Eden away from their parents, as well as the tree of life. People look at genesis 3 as the end of the Adam and Eve story. They may have lost the garden, and their lives eventually, but God still provided for them, and kept in touch, as we can see from his interactions with Cain.

Adam would not ha e taught his children to sacrifice of their best if he did not still hold a reverence for his father
