It was modelled after the “Seven Springs” in the US (which shares a common pool of student applicants), could you please tell me what is the "seven springs"exactly?
Possibly to do with college admissions. The Pennsylvania Association for College Admission Counseling (PACAC) holds annual conferences at Seven Springs Mountain Resort at Champion, Pennsylvania. More context needed.
@Tes yeux noirs,
"It" is some kind of alliance between schools, and this alliance maybe got inspiration from the "seven springs", therefore, I wonder what is the "seven springs".
@avalipeng,
See my earlier reply for explanation.
@avalipeng,
Are you sure that wasn't supposed to be Seven Sisters?
Quote:The Seven Sisters is a loose association of seven liberal arts colleges in the Northeastern United States that are historically women's colleges. They are Barnard College, Bryn Mawr College, Mount Holyoke College, Radcliffe College, Smith College, Vassar College, and Wellesley College. All were founded between 1837 and 1889.
@Tes yeux noirs,
Thanks a lot, I think I got it.
@ehBeth,
yes, I am sure, however, I think the "seven springs" is similar to the "seven sisters", thanks a lot!
@avalipeng,
The Seven Springs is a place where meetings are hosted.
The Seven Sisters is a set of affiliated colleges.
The concepts are not at all similar.
