There's a good reason neighbours hadn't seen Jim Sulkers for a while -- he died in his bed two years ago.

Police who found the mummified body of Sulkers, 52, in his Manitoba, Canada, apartment said nobody had been suspicious because his bills were paid automatically.

He apparently died of natural causes. "This man was very reclusive," said an investigator. "He kept to himself."

I find it all sick, but the title was what got me.

Why Mummify yourself before you die, when you don't know whether you're going to die or not? Does he want death by mummification or something? I doubt it...

That is the one and only possible option.

Although, for effect's sake, I think that the cult should be full of white rastafarians. It makes the movie adaption more appealing.

O, smog, I'm afraid that it will be another one of those forgotten gems.

(Actually, it probably won't.)

I wonder if his neighbors thought this more than two years ago...

(Oh, good point. Although, if you were missing for even a few days, I would start to get concerned, since you are hardly a recluse!)

You know we belong together
You and I forever and ever
No matter where you are
You're my guiding star

And from the very first moment I saw you
I never felt such emotion
I'm walking on air
Just to know (just to know)
You are there (you are there)

Hold me in your arms
Don't let me go
I want to stay forever
Home and away
With you each day
Let me be the one
That you turn to
Someone you can rely on
Closer each day
Home and away
