@Glennn,
The creator is a man-made concept without objective evidence. Science provides most of the answers to the what and why's. As with most things that has life, it will eventually die.
Evolution is thy name.

Well I sure wish he would have said something.

It's like Lucy and Ethel in the Chocolate Factory the way kids are being pushed out.

Or like this...

@cicerone imposter,
Yes, death is a natural occurrence, and yet some people have come to perceive it as an enemy for which they need an ally to fight it. Sad.

@Glennn,
My siblings are christians and believe in a life hereafter. I have no such illusions.

I believe in the scientific studies of primates, and our origin.

If you stop to think about stopping your thinking, you may think of the answer to your thought provoking question. Laughing

How does that jibe with the record over the past 6000 years or so? Are you saying 'New Rules' were put in place recently?

I may also ask you for your answer. Oh wait! That's exactly what I already did.

OK
If you think of any alternates to life that don't involve dying, let us know.

@neologist,
Death is a natural occurrence. How is it that you have come to fear it?

I don't recall saying anything about fearing death. Those are your words.

I just said that, as an alternate to life, it would be a bummer.

So you feel that nonexistence would be an annoying and disappointing experience? Do you understand the concept of nonexistence?

Explain how nonexistence falls into the category of bummers. Who would be experiencing this state of bummed-outness?

I'm afraid my college Philosophy courses fell short on that concept.

@cicerone imposter,
And as far as I can recall, I've never heard anyone say, "I'm tired of not existing, and it's really bumming me out."

@Glennn,
I never heard any family member or friend say such a thing, but have read stories about people of all ages saying they prefer to die rather than live on. I think they suffer from depression, and they need medical help, but don't seek outside help. It's sad that some people go through this hell.
