@dalehileman,
Don't worry, nobody would ever accuse you of using English.

@dalehileman,
I feel as if I'm explaining accepted/normal behaviour to my boys when they were around 14-15. They smirked which frosted me ( the smug little know-it-alls) but now I can sit in the glow of "Mom, you were right", but like all other parents, I don't want to hear "Mom, you were right" Damn, I know I was right, why couldn't you just listen??? Was that so hard???

Using correct grammar is important because people will judge you based on how well you present your ideas. If you are not a native speaker, and you are going to use English for business purposes, it is extremely important. Whether or not you consider it fair, in business people will judge you by how well groomed you are, by how well dressed you are and by how well you speak or write the English language. Strive to do as well as you can, in that case.

Yea, no, Glit, in my case of course my Better Half is much smarter thanI

Incidentally don't you also find it remarkable about how incompetent the edit prog; evidently they don't use any girls, who would immediately see it as two words

You have a bit of assholeness, calling Gliterbag, Glit. So cute.

My interest is how your wife deals with you. Can she get to talk?

@ossobuco,
Dale sent me a PM stating that he was going to call you Asso, but I talked him out of it.

Good. Then my work here is done. Oh, I guess I should say something about why the use of correct grammar is so important. To me, using the word your when you should be using the word you're is like going to town with you're shirt buttoned up crooked, or wairing it inside out (see what I did there). You don't notice it, but everybody else does. The same goes for using the word there when you should be using the word they're. Theirs just no excuse for that kind of thing. Doing so is like telling everyone that your mom and your English teacher must have been seeing each other more often than just at PTA meetings.

And just as it wouldn't be right to use Asso as a nickname for Osso, neither would it be right to use Glit as a nickname for Glitterbag. Gbag would be better. When I see the name Glit, I feel myself involuntarily tensing up and my face getting red. Just a helpful hint.
