Recently, I have had 2 songs running through my head as sort of semi-inspirational mantras. I don't even know why these two. One is major key; the other is minor. Neither has terribly profound lyrics. But either way, there they are, every morning for months, accompanying me in my head as I go about my business. Inspiration? Annoyance? Soundtrack? Ear worm? Helfino.
So, gentle A2Ker, which songs are running through your head these days, like a summer time child taking advantage of a sprinkler? Post below if you please - silly or serious. Add the reason why, if you like. To add the YouTube video, use the following tags around the video URL:

Oh, and here are the two which are pushing me through the cosmic sprinkler these days:
I don't know why the Donald Fagen song is called IGY.
From wikipedia:
Fagen's lyrics reference, from the point of view of that time, an optimistic vision of futuristic concepts such as solar-powered cities, a transatlantic tunnel, permanent space stations,[3] and spandex jackets.
I've been trying to pick a song to do a choreography to. Can't be too complicated re rhythm changes because this will only be my second from-scratch choreo.
I've been kind of hung up on James Brown for a while ...
the studio I'm at now may have given me the technique I need ...
I hear this in my head ALL the damn time

@jespah,
This one is an almost ridiculous ear worm -
The odd thing is that I'm pretty good at guessing what time it is..

I looked IGY up on urban dictionary and I already almost forget the answer it gave -
TOP DEFINITION
igy
I get you, reply to ygm
I'm going out with her again tonight, ygm?
Yeah, igy.
I take it that YGM is you get me?
No idea if that was song related.

I don't want to remember any of the godawful songs that have been going through my head for the past few weeks. The really bad ones get stuck a lot more than the good ones. Fortunately you've caught me on a good day, I've currently got something good going through my head, so I'll share that. Having IGY at the top of the thread helped too.

@snood,
Oh, thanks - hence the lyric about 90 minutes from New York to Paris.

@jespah,
When I'm rushing too a given place (work or otherwise), I often have either the following songs running alternatively ironically and as a semi-inspirational mantra in my noggin.
Christopher Cross - Ride Like The Wind
And one of my alltime favorite covers: The Eye Of The Tiger - Chiara Mastroianni

@Setanta,
I had forgotten all about that song (whoever put together the slideshow has a thing for Jennifer Aniston and Kelly Ripa).
Love everyone's contributions. Today's inspirational ditty:
