How long does homemade Gelato last

Hi everyone I am making Gelato at home trying different flavours but I don't always feel like eating it straight off how long can it be frozen for? any help and advice would be very grateful.

My homemade gelato lasts just fine in the freezer. I follow the Ice Cream Nation blog, specifically about Sicilian Gelato (there are different kinds, the Sicilian gelati are made with either corn starch or arrowroot. Other gelati are made with eggs. Far as I know, they both last well in the freezer.
