A relieved Olympic athlete got his silver medal back - after a taxi driver found it in his cab.
Dutch rower Diederik Simon, 34, left his prize in the back of one of Athens' 5,000 yellow cabs on Monday evening.
Simon, who won the medal in the men's eight rowing event the day before, called police to see if it had been found. The taxi driver is to receive a gift for his honesty, organisers said.
If it was a Gold Medal the driver may have thought twice...
