I took the kids to see this tour back in May. They loved it, I'm as surprised as anyone. Hawkwind have always put on a good show, I've literally lost count of the amount of times I've seen them. And yes, I know they're not to everybody's taste.

@izzythepush,
I have a huge soft sport for Hawkwind - have no idea why.

I was massively surprised to see poster for their live show in Athens last year. Doubt I will ever see them though.

I just tripped over this thread--what a great idea!

This is from a 1970 French television broadcast:

@glitterbag,
I already knew Rufus featuring Chaka Khan sang the song.

I never knew Stevie Wonder wrote it.

@Real Music,
I only discovered that tidbit about a year ago. I should look for some of the songs written by Prince that were tailored for other artists. He was incredibly gifted, which is an understatement.

@glitterbag,
Les Miserables at the Kennedy Center in DC was one. I took my sister and niece, because tickets were sold out, but I went to the box office anyways, and surprisingly, somebody just turned in 3 tickets to the show. How lucky was that?
