You scared me.

Sorry, D. Sorry Beth and all. It was a silly test to find out if anyone would read that long list all the way through. <grin> But I apologize profusely. I think guns are frightening... and a little absurd.

Husker! Nice to see you up and about! It is a small bag, a rectangular 7 x 9 inches and one inch wide. That's not very big, but that list was mostly papers.

More exact than south of Seattle on Puget Sound. I've never heard of Bombay. Is it Pierce or King county?

Mchol -- Bombay is my little joke. I grew up on Vaughn Bay in Pierce County. Say Vaughn Bay several times, very, very fast and you'll understand how it got its nickname.

Gautam -- <smiling & waving> That was in a small handbag like this one:

Mchol -- Do you live in Washington? Seattle?

Hi PamO,

I'd be surprised if your husband knew "Bombay." See even Mchol, who must live around here, hasn't heard of Vaughn Bay! It is very small and doesn't have any stores. There is a church, a school and a boat launch.

How old is your baby? Must be a girl if you have a pink bib. Don't you just love Clinique lip gloss?http://a248.e.akamai.net/www.clinique.com/images/products/250x250/clq_6359_250.jpg My favorite color is "Black Honey."

A pony-tailer? Is that like a covered rubber-band?

I dunno, G. I thought YOU had a lot of stuff in Your Bag! A lunch box? All those copies? A bottle of scent? Quite impressive!

My purse is about 8" tall and has a strap long enough to go over my head. I like my hands free.

I used to use huge purses, but started having back trouble. A doctor once weighed my purse to make a point about that. Shocked

I do have lots of just-in-case items in my desk at work though. In my previous incarnation, those items would have been in my briefcase. And coupons and bank slips are in the car.

Contents of my purse:

wallet with $119.83 (more cash than I usually carry, but just came back from a trip), driver's license, auto insurance card, 2 health insurance cards, a couple of credit cards, ATM card, library card, YMCA card, emergency numbers, a check I need to deposit
house/car keys
spare car key (ever since I read soz's nightmare story about being locked out)
asthma inhaler (rarely used anymore)
lip gloss
coverstick
facial blotters
Listerine pocket pack
Carefree Koolerz sugar free Lemonade gum (it's the best!)
prescriptions from the doctor yesterday
pencil
nail clippers
list of the next 20 three letter words for the Add-a-Letter game
