Does online chatting destroys the learning of a language?

I'm trying to learn a language using chats and forums and as i gain new terms and sentences, It starts to bother on how would I use those terms...

Hardly. Chats and forums are good places to learn the language. Also tv shows are used by many to learn a language. The language used on chats and forums are understood by the majority, and therefore useful as a teaching tool.

thanks for the link sir, English is a universal language, schools in our country taught it to us somehow but I'm learning different language sir.. I really appreciate your feedback Smile
