ROME (AFP) - A famous Italian shoemaker has cancelled his summer holiday to meet an urgent order from California governor and former film star Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Silvano Lattanzi received a fax Wednesday from the one-time "Terminator" ordering two pairs of shoes for use during the Republican Party's convention in New York at the end of the month.
Given the short time available Lattanzi has unlocked his workshop at Casette d'Ete in the Marche region of east central Italy and cobbled together a team of three other shoemakers.
"We do not talk any more about vacations," Lattanzi said. "My clients come first whatever their job and their name."
Schwarzenegger likes to be well shod and is a faithful customer of Lattanzi, who has a worldwide clientele
Some of the celebrities need to think of others before themselves. Silvano Lattanzi deserves a holiday, and does not need it ruined by Arnold Schwarzenegger. Maybe Arnold should try having his vacations cancelled, and see how he likes it.
I agree Brimstone. They think that people in service industries are there to serve, and barely keep in mind their being people too.
