Wheelie bin grand prix staged

What is claimed to be the first grand prix for wheelie bins is being staged at Lochwinnoch near Paisley.

The event, which has been organised by local residents, will take place at the Castle Semple Centre on Sunday.

Competitions which members of the public can enter will include a 100m sprint and static events like fancy dress wheelies.
