Yes, but in theater, if you are given a line, you are being prompted. If you stutter and look wildly into the wings, you are looking for a prompt. If they have someone watching the script carefully, they might feed you a line when you pause (in their opinion) over long, thus they have prompted you, unprompted.

I could also say that Queue areas are places where people, unprompted, wait in line for goods or services.

I wasn't chiding you for a poor answer, I was free associating with your word.
