(it was this flexible frisbee-like thing with a hole in the middle that is much easier to throw over long distances -- doesn't require the level of technique of a real frisbee. also, it doesn't hurt to get hit with one. frisbee enthusiasts scoffed at the aerobee. i had one, back in the 80s. i was young.)
