Wild Bill Hickock
((The one and only time in written history that two men agreed to meet in a Western USA street and conduct a gun duel. It happened in Springfield, MO. Hickock won. Only to go on and be ambushed at a gambling table in Deadwood while holding 'Aces and Eights')) All the other street gunfights were movie script writers dreams.

(so called "kraut-western" - german version of westerns. growing up in germany, i couldn't get enough of them. perhaps the reason for coming to canada, but haven't found "old shatterhand" yet !)

Dan Blocker
(it's a stretch of mind where-in westerns brought me to the Ponderosa and Bonanza, hence Dan Blocker)
