(retirement + easy street ?
if been retired for some years, "it seems" as if i'm working harder than ever.
i used to get up at about 7:30 to be at work "around" 8:30 - reserved parking, of course !
now i/we get up at 6:45 to be at the pool about 7:45 - NO RESERVED PARKING ! drat !)

I was retired two times in 1986 - first time from my work and second time for my auto.........!!! ((as in bought new tires.))
HB - boy, I know what you mean. I've never worked so hard and constantly in my life as after retirement.
life/retirement is sweat and toil ...
(but i'm not ready to give up retirement, have tried it only for the last twenty years ... i need more experience in retirement)
