Nickel Creek (one of the most talented bands I've heard; they are classified as being "newgrass," but I'm not much for classifications)
It's a real shame that that other Nickel- band are more famous than they; Nickel Creek deserve more recognition over here....

It's like those people whom, when one tries to explain Ryan Adams' style, immediately think of Bryan Adams of 'Everything I do' infame. It's as if some people are too stupid to understand that people miss out consonants for a reason...
(The Bryan/Ryan mistake might be understandable if your audience is simply out-of-date. But mistaking Creek, for, well, a word that only shares ONE letter?! C'mon!)
I know. They think that we are the foolish ones, making up names, which is the most annoying thing. They persist to say, 'OOOOH! Nickelback! Yè, they're cool.'
