Phthirus pubis

{Clary, thought you'd like this- When substitute teaching a Bio class recently, the teacher had left a handout which on cancer which was a fill-in the blank kind of thing. One of the questions read, "The latin word for cancer is _____." I told the students that I thought it was a typo because cancer is the latin word. What he was looking for was crab. When I w nt to "Ask Jeeves" to query the latin for crab, I typed in crabS and Phthirus pubis is what it gave me. ;^}

I do like that one! I hope that when you say it gave you phthirus pubis, you are not still suffering from the little beasts. I must remember to use it in the animal couplets game.

What's the connection with bigfoot?
