Patrick Duffy played Mark Harris in The Man From Atlantis. A sort of fishman who came from an under water city.

He also played Bobby Ewing.

I thought your comparison of "Patrick" Ewing ((who doesn't exist to my knowledge)) was a play on words.

Anyway, it isn't funny when it has to be explained. ((Just kidding, that's a joke))
