Hi joan; (i thought larryta, was more likely joan than john!)
Hi joan......nice to meet you.
Bo, then=the days of Death Valley Days and Twenty Mule Team Borax..........
when
my shock was your implication that TV 'now' is no longer boring;
or did you have some clever itteration of 'Borax' in mind?(silly me!)
I rarely watch TV these days.....so I don't know if it's boring or not, but there are many more choices today. Back then we had little...........very boring, and no computers, no cable, no satelite, no 24 hour news, you even had to wait for the 8 or 10 oclock news to learn the weather forecast....or find the paper, which was also boring it was so biased.
borrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrring
so now we intersperce TV watching with bringing up the 'fruits' of the 'old days'!
And publications like the Tombstone Epitaph, the local paper at Tombstone AZ, whose stories were filled with holes.
the inestimable beauty of a 'black hole'!
