It was a ducky day in Hollywood when cartoon star Donald Duck received the Hollywood Walk of Fame's 2,257th star.
A beaming Donald -- actually a person in a duck suit -- was in attendance along with Mickey Mouse for the star's unveiling.
It was placed on the pavement in front of the Walt Disney-owned El Capitan Theatre and Disney store in Hollywood.
"Donald particularly appreciates this," quipped Disney chief executive Michael Eisner.
"Mickey isn't even jealous."
The feisty fowl made his debut in the 1934 Disney cartoon The Wise Little Hen.
He began starring in his own cartoons in 1937.
