BTW Do you have the body count resulting from Koran reading for the last twelve months ..to the nearest thousand say ?

Even a placebo can have benefits and yes some people derive benefits from almost any such belief system. A lot of serious downsides are possible too but I'm sure that there have been millions of people who became better people due to religions of various sorts, no matter how flawed any of them may be.
