Hi English teachers,
my niece has wanted me to guess a word and I guess the word is "deeply", is it correct?
Perseverance is staying on to do somethings right despite difficulties, d????y in success or when others give up.

I can't make 'deeply' work in that sentence. Does it have to be d- - --y in form?

Yes,so tough. I can't find any suitable word.

My first guess is "devotedly," but it doesn't seem perfect. "deeply" wouldn't work.
Edit: doggedly? diligently?
