Look for bio details on Big Danny Oliver (1950s artist)

I'm trying to find some bio details for Big Danny Oliver who had an R&B/Rock n roll single in 1958 that got some traction, 'Sapphire'.

He's very much mining Little Richard territory. Even a place of birth would help.

Have mined the usual sources with no luck at all.

I didn't find anything, either, and i noted that there were several hits on people looking for information/a biography. A very slippery customer, Mr. Oliver.
