LCD TV ...digital reception only?

OK, here is my situation. I mostly watch DVD and VHS movies...but I also like to fill in with broadcast TV...here's the catch...I don't have Cable or Satellite. Yes, I'm one of those dinosaurs that uses an old-fashioned rabbit ears antenna. I was told by a guy a Circuit City that an LCD monitor will only receive a digital signal and won't work with analog. To tell the truth, I'm not sure all these guys know what they are talking about so I thought I'd come to the forum and hear what real experts have to say. Thank you for your time and advice.

Never mind....I went somewhere else and bought an LCD and it works great with an antenna...actually it is a lot more powerful than my cath-tube TV.
