At age 85 had one this morning, first time

Quote:
Citrus maxima (or Citrus grandis), (Common names: shaddock,[1] pomelo, pummelo, pommelo, pamplemousse, or shaddok) is a natural (non-hybrid) citrus fruit, with the appearance of a big grapefruit, native to South and Southeast Asia

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pomelo

Very thick skin, a disappointment since having learned that citrus isn't suitable for compost

@dalehileman,
Also, incidentally, if you're own statin (or some cholesterol med), you can't eat grapefruit.

@dalehileman,
Wikipedia notes:

Some medicines may interact dangerously with pomelos and some pomelo hybrids, including grapefruit, some limes, and some oranges.[

Isn't this the second thread you started with that title, Dale? About pomelos?

It's the 38th.

Thank you Rag, I'll advise BH, who as you know is much smarter than I, and get her input on this as I believe we're both using stations

I'm sure it's a pun and probable a very good one

...but too subtle for me. If I'm deluded then in what way exactly

@dalehileman,
Dale, when you post a thread online, about the food you just ate, incorporating your age into said thread - It is simply demograped.

Thus - Old fella, with little, or no, interaction with other humans resigns himself to describing his most recent digestive experience with virtual strangers on an online (residential-home) forum - because the rest of the world has already laid him to rest.

Everyone needs to belong somewhere, Dale.
That's ok, but does the virtual world prevent or sustain such.
If there were no internet, for example, would you make more of an attempt to interact with real folk?
"If's n buts" Count for nought, I know. Yet kids, families, entire communities sit glued to one screen or another - Rather than........whatever.
Matters not - All the best Dale.

Thanks Mark, it's not everyday....

A most reassuring feeling

Aside from everyday needs so well afforded by Better Half and a big home I don't deserve, I'd hafta belong somewhere accessible to the exotic imported brew

Probly not Mark. However we do have interesting visitors, including my two 40+ year-old sons

Yes and what an appalling waste of time

Thank you Mark but of course I do have it

@dalehileman,
Not an attack, Dale.
An observation in regards to the structure of the op.
A person, unknowing of you, would analyse
and categorise, solely, from the one post.
