Matt Tollefson and his dog, Maddy, are closer than ever -- thanks to mouth-to-muzzle resuscitation.

Tollefson went into action when he spotted the three-year-old Labrador floating in a lake in Fargo, North Dakota. He pulled the dog's lifeless body to shore, began resuscitation and brought her back to life.

"It seems like she looks at me differently now," he said. "She's still the same dog. There's just more of a bond now."
