PARLIAMENTARY PORN SHOW
A politician who was supposed to be taking part in a debate on road safety was caught watching a porn movie in parliament.
The MP is alleged to have downloaded the movie on his laptop computer.
While his colleagues were discussing safety issues, the man spent five minutes watching the film.
What a sleasebag! Being paid £40,000 to watch filth isn't the greatest way of upholding British democracy, 'though it is completely undermined anyway by the whip system.
Well, at least we know US politicians aren't the only sex-crazed politicians in the world. :wink:

So is there actually a law against doing that in Parliament? I mean it may not be exactly respectable but can they actually do anything about it?

They can be taken to the whip, but this rarely happens.
And yes, normal Joe MP earns £40,000 a year, (not counting the tax being taken away.) Ministers, in contrast, earn £70,000 to £130,000 a year--- can you see why these people vote for the party instead of their beliefs, yet?
I doubt that the only reason they vote on their party is for that money i eamn im sure they could find more money than that at a different job that they are qualified for as well. Most come from wealthy families anyways.
