I need a printed\printable guide to fossils commonly found in New York State.

Does anyone know of anything that would fulfill this need?

FarmerMan would also be an excellent resource for this I would guess. I think he's a geologist who is based near that area.

I just wish there was something worth hunting for in my area, but unfortunately, the glaciers pretty much sealed my fate here in New Hampshire.

If you live near New Jersey, I can tell you about a place where you can find fossilized sharks teeth. We used to collect them when I was a kid.
